Do you take commissions?
Yes - I am more than happy to create certain pieces in custom colour-ways or sizes. Or if you have something else in mind, let me know!
How will my order arrive?
Depending on the piece, orders are shipped in a branded cotton draw-string bag with acid-free tissue paper and/or a branded box, packaged with care. Please note that your order will arrive in packaging with ‘Cecilia Stamp’ on it - if it’s a surprise gift and you’d prefer plain packaging please let me know when placing your order.
What is oxidised silver?
Oxidised silver is still silver - it just has a lovely matte black surface which is created by a chemical process using liver of sulphur. As with any surface treatment, this effect will wear off over time and shine up depending on how often the piece is worn. Each oxidised piece is polished and sealed with beeswax to protect and prolong the oxidisation, but it will still wear off eventually. It will not discolour your skin or cause irritation.
My order is a gift - can you send it directly to the recipient?
Of course - just let me know and I'll be happy to include a custom note in with the piece.
Can I return or exchange items?
Yes, I want you to be happy with your purchase! But if for any reason you are unhappy then please let us know. and we will try to resolve the issue. You have the option to do this within 14 days from the receipt of your order. This excludes earrings for hygiene reasons. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Please read the Ts + Cs page for more information. Please remember that all items are handmade, and therefore may have slight variations in both colour and form. Refunds and exchanges are not possible for pieces that have been specially commissioned, we hope you understand.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, international orders will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For.
Do you do repairs?
Quality and craftsmanship are of my utmost concern. However, jewellery by its very nature is delicate and each piece is made by hand. If you should experience the need for repair on an item, please contact me.
I will repair breakages caused by defect (not accidental damage) within 120 days of purchase, at no charge. Repairs needed after 120 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge at the customer’s expense. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
